Their traditional lifestyle is closely linked to the desert, and over time they have developed unique survival strategies to live in this extreme environment.
The Bedouins are known for their hospitality and their close connection with nature. They have a rich oral tradition that includes stories, poems and songs, often passed down from generation to generation. Their society is strongly influenced by tribal structures based on mutual support and cooperation.
Traditionally, the Bedouins live by raising livestock, especially camels, sheep and goats. These animals provide them not only with food and dairy products, but also with transportation and materials for clothing and tents. The Bedouins are also skilled craftsmen and produce elaborate carpets, jewelry and other handcrafted items.
Although many Bedouins today have settled down or adapted to modern ways of life, they still proudly maintain their cultural identity and traditions. Their way of life is consistent with the principles of self-sufficiency, modesty and respect for nature.
However, the Bedouins also face challenges in the modern era. The effects of climate change, political conflicts and economic changes threaten their traditional lifestyle and natural resources. Nevertheless, many Bedouins are committed to protecting their culture and heritage.
