The Una rises in Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia and flows through northwestern Bosnia before flowing into the Sava. The river is known for its clear blue waters and picturesque scenery along its course.

The Drina forms the natural border between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia and flows through a deep gorge lined with steep cliffs. The river is also known for its numerous rapids and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

The Sava is the country's largest river and flows along Bosnia's northern border with Croatia before flowing into the Danube. It forms an important part of the waterway for trade.

Bosnia-Herzegovina has access to the sea via the narrow coastal area near Neum, which lies on the Adriatic Sea. This access allows the country to conduct trade through the port of Ploče in Croatia, which serves as the main seaport for the country's trade.
